Masters of Beautiful Achievements is a great source of insights and learnings from different experiences around the globe in various disciplines such as biomimicry, blue economy, sustainability, technology, finance, sociology, entrepreneurship, education and philosophy. A large range of topics will be put into perspective to understand how they support sustainable innovation.

This Masters of Beautiful Achievements started in November 2013 as a learning program of Alexander Prinsen to understand what it takes to become really Sustainable.

Since 2015 the Masters program is now a research project to share and deepen the learning of the different subjects which are all required for the sustainable wave that are underway. Alexander is now sharing his insights of this Program with individuals, startups, school/universities and companies.



Water the molecule we barely understand and yet it has significant importance to the creation of life on our SpaceShip.

The increasing shortage of access to clean water is increasing the related costs of cleaning our water aquifers, rivers and oceans.

So there is an economic driver to purify our waters sources to sustain life. Understanding the characteristics of water will help finding solutions how to use the water molecule effectively.

Soil the engine of all life on the spaceship exists in water, dirt and air. Restoring the regenerative capacity of soil will solve many of our environmental, societal and economic challenges we face today.

Biobased is the source of the nutrients cycles that creates food (agriculture), packaging, fuel, pharmaceuticals, fabrics and much more. Life exists due to biodiversity and it has many innovative lessons to share.

So restoring our soil brings back the abundance of biobased biodiversity and therefore the economic drivers

Mineral extraction is impacting our soil, forests, environment and communities. Entropy ensures minerals are dispersed once used and recovering requires effective methods.

Nature found many solutions how to extract valuable minerals resources, as they are the building blocks to design and manufacturing everything. Together with the biobased resources life cannot work without them.

So the economic driver is to reduce our environmental footprint at the source and during its recovering, by reducing costs and generating new value streams.



Energy is combination of physics, thermodynamics and Biological chemistry.

Energy is abundant in nature and exists in every corner of our Spaceship.  Estimation are within 10 years human have abundant Energy resources at our disposable and readily be available. Nature’s Direct Current system is distributed in a Smart Grid System available to all.

So integrating abundant energy capture and storage systems in our manufacturing, build environment and transport is the economic driver to be energy effective and self-supportive.


(Re) Manufacturing

The fourth manufacturing industrial revolution is underway. Decentralised local production units at a fraction of the cost.

Circular business economics driver is closing the fabrication- and supply chains cycles. Smarter production processes are integrating nature principles and are eliminating polluting environmental costs.

So cost effective business models are integrating existing and future output streams with new input supply chain opportunities.

Business Model & Ethics

Nature business logic works with input and output feedback loops, and each output has a new input opportunity.

The systems view of life, eg Systemic design, applies Systems Dynamics and sustainable design principles to identify sustainable innovative business models.

Zero waste business models provide more business opportunities if we accept nature’s 3.8 billion years of evolutionary sustainable challenges and solutions.

So business logic requires us to use our nutrients and minerals flow cycles effectively to create innovate endless innovative sustainable business opportunities.
